He drove into Las Vegas several hours later.

He found an affordable hotel within walking distance of the strip.

He arrived at the Club de Soleil at 1:00 pm two hours before check-in time and had to pay an early arrival fee.

He recharged his camera and media player batteries so they would be ready to use the next morning.
